Membrane boxes
Faqs:
1. Can your membrane boxes meet the stringent requirements of ISO Class 1 cleanrooms?
Absolutely. Our membrane boxes are manufactured with medical – grade dust – free materials and have passed rigorous cleanroom certification. The surface particle contamination is ≤1 particle/m³ (0.1μm), fully complying with ISO Class 1 cleanroom standards. This effectively prevents contamination of precision devices such as wafers and chips during experiments.
2. How do you ensure that membrane boxes can withstand extreme temperature and humidity conditions during transportation?
Our membrane boxes feature excellent temperature and humidity protection. The outer shell is made of engineering plastics resistant to high and low temperatures, capable of withstanding a temperature range from – 40°C to 120°C. Inside, there are sealing rubber rings and desiccant modules, which can maintain the relative humidity below 5%, ensuring the stability of experimental samples in harsh environments.
3. For electrostatic - sensitive semiconductor materials, what is the anti - static rating of your membrane boxes?
The surface resistance of our membrane boxes is controlled between 10⁶ – 10⁹Ω, meeting the international ESD S20.20 standard. This effectively releases electrostatic charges, preventing electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage to semiconductor materials and ensuring the accuracy of experimental data.
4. Do your membrane boxes support custom sizing to fit special laboratory equipment?
Yes, we offer full – size customization services. Our engineering team can design exclusive membrane box solutions based on the sample dimensions and experimental process requirements you provide. We can complete sample prototyping in as fast as 3-5 working days, ensuring a perfect fit with your equipment.
5. What is the sealing performance of the membrane boxes? Can they prevent the intrusion of corrosive gases?
The membrane boxes adopt a double – sealing structure. Tested by helium mass spectrometry leak detection, the leakage rate is less than 1×10⁻⁹ Pa·m³/s. This can effectively isolate corrosive gases, oxygen, and moisture, protecting environmentally sensitive semiconductor materials or devices.
6. After long - term use, will the elastic film of the membrane box age or deform?
Our elastic films are made of a composite material of high – elasticity silicone and polytetrafluoroethylene. After more than 10,000 fatigue tests, there is no significant deformation. They also have anti – UV and chemical – resistant properties, with a service life of up to 5 years or more.
7. Do your membrane boxes support vacuum sealing?
Yes, we provide custom vacuum membrane box services. The internal pressure can be pumped down to 1×10⁻³ Pa, suitable for the storage and transportation of semiconductor materials with extremely high vacuum requirements, such as compound semiconductor wafers.
8. For fragile MEMS devices, how do your membrane boxes provide effective cushioning?
The interior of the membrane boxes features a honeycomb – shaped cushioning structure, combined with high – resilience EVA foam pads, which can absorb more than 98% of the impact force. Meanwhile, the elastic film can suspend and fix the devices at multiple points, avoiding collision damage during transportation.
9. Are your membrane boxes compatible with automated transfer systems?
Our membrane boxes are designed in strict accordance with SEMI standards, with a dimensional accuracy controlled within ±0.1mm. They can seamlessly interface with AMHS (Automated Material Handling Systems) and EFEM (Equipment Front – End Modules), meeting the requirements of automated laboratory experimental processes.
10. Do your membrane boxes have protective capabilities for radioactive semiconductor materials?
We can provide lead – shielded membrane boxes with a lead layer thickness of up to 5mm. This can effectively block β and γ rays, ensuring the safety of laboratory personnel without affecting other protective properties of the membrane box.
11. What is the optical transparency of the membrane box? Will it affect microscopic observation?
The membrane box is made of high – transmittance polycarbonate material, with a light transmittance of ≥92% and no optical distortion. It can be directly used for microscopic observation of samples without the need to transfer the samples, reducing the risk of contamination.
12. What is the minimum order quantity? Does your company support fast delivery for small - batch orders?
The minimum order quantity for standard – size membrane boxes is 50 units. For small – batch orders, we have a green channel, and production and delivery can be completed within 5-7 working days to ensure that your experimental progress is not affected.
13. How do you ensure the safety of membrane boxes during international transportation?
We cooperate with international logistics giants such as DHL and FedEx. We use customized shock – proof outer packaging boxes and purchase transportation insurance for each order to ensure that the membrane boxes and internal samples arrive at the destination safely.
14. What is the warranty period of the membrane box? What does the warranty cover?
The warranty period for the membrane box is 1 years. The warranty covers problems caused by non – human factors such as material defects, sealing failures, and structural damage. We will provide free repair or replacement services.
